We can't speak highly enough of "My Tuscan Wedding" and specifically
Gina Rodriquez. Planning a wedding abroad is a complicated process,
but as we were a British couple living in Thailand, it was made all
the more difficult. I can categorically say that without Gina's help
we wouldn't have been able to do it.
For twenty months prior to the wedding Gina talked us through every
last detail of both the service and reception. Thousands (I kid you
not) of emails were exchanged, and numerous skype conversations were
held with Gina providing us with sample menus, options for flowers,
transport, photographer, decorations, music, etc... She even helped me
arrange a group of Chinese Lion Dancers to come and perform!
Even with all this, it was the legal side of things where we really
owe a debt of gratitude to Gina. She sent us through exact details of
paperwork we needed to complete and details of what to ask for when
visiting the various embassies in Bangkok. Upon our arrival in Pisa,
Gina had already processed the forms for us, liaising with the
consulates in Milan and Bangkok, and took us to the correct offices to
pay fee's, register and sign documents. Without Gina's help we
wouldn't have been able to find these offices, let alone speak in
Italian to them and complete the paperwork.
The day itself was wonderful, with Gina being with us from the morning
until the dancing had nearly finished. We wanted a wedding that
ourselves and nobody else would ever forget and thanks to Gina that is
exactly what we got!

It's an absolute privilege to recommend Gina for
her work as our wedding planner. When getting married overseas there is a leap of
faith when putting the most special of days in to the trust and care of a stranger.
With Gina that is a leap that pays a huge return.
We first met Gina a year before
our wedding and it immediately felt right. Not only was she warm, enthusiastic and
energetic but she took took the time to show us around the city and some potential
venues without being even being given the assignment. This theme of operating above
and beyond the call of duty was consistent throughout our entire experience and We
truly believe there can be none more proficient or dedicated than Gina, not only in
the Lucca region but in her profession as a whole.
For over a year between our
first meet and the wedding her responsiveness to queries was almost instantaneous
and her ability and experience to read our requirement and make it a reality was
truly exceptional. We were in the area for the week prior to our wedding day and
Gina's support was immense if not invaluable. We truly struggle to comprehend how
she managed to do everything to such great finesse within the package we had chosen
from her portfolio. The actual day was even better. With a couple of force majeure
incidents causing a potential delay to proceedings Gina had a plan B and C ready to
spring into action and was completely unflappable and managed to bring proceedings
back on track with the minimum of fuss. Her fluent Italian and local contacts add
to the confidence that you are in 'very safe hands'.
I can honestly say that the
support we received was so overwhelming that it brought me to tears, I cannot speak
highly enough of Gina. The only disappointment on the day was that Gina could not
take us up on our offer of joining our family and friends at our villa reception, as
by then Gina felt like one, by both us and our guests. That is confirmed by her
following up with us a couple of times since our wedding. We look forward to
catching up again with Gina when we return to the area.

A year ago when we first met you in Lucca, I couldn’t imagine what the day would be like, and I can truly say it was amazing and better than I could ever had imagined!!! I just loved the flowers and how the rooms were decorated. And all the little things you sorted to make our day special, like the cutting of the cake and feeding each other, and the ribbon on the drive as we entered the villa. So many memories. I’m thinking of the day today as I can’t believe it was 2 weeks ago already!!!

Getting married abroad initially was a daunting thought. The culture and language barriers were proving to be more than difficult, but then after meeting Gina all our concerns went away and from then we felt like our wedding was in safe and trustworthy hands.
Gina was responsive to all our questions and queries throughout the planning process and because of this we didn't experience periods of stress and doubt as many couples do in the run up to their wedding day.
The wedding day itself was above and beyond our expectations due to the organisation provided by Gina and so we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of the day knowing somebody was there to look after our every wish.

We hired Gina to organise the wedding in September 2011 of our daughter Cathy in Torre del Lago. From start to finish Gina was the ultimate professional, hiring the best in local caterers, florists and photographers. The day itself was a dream - the bride arriving by boat across a still lake at the wedding villa, the civil ceremony on top of a boathouse, the luscious food and excellent wine, the spectacular wedding cake and magical woodland setting by the lake for cocktails and dancing - an unforgettable experience. We cannot recommend Gina highly enough.

Gina is magnificent. As anyone navigating the perils of planning a wedding knows, the process is unavoidably stressful, made only more so when a couple has decided to leave their native country and attempt to seek a legally binding marriage abroad. Gina not only made the process infinitely less stressful then it would have been alone, her attention to detail, calm nature, and friendly, outgoing personality made the entire experience enjoyable. Going well beyond her duties as a wedding planner, Gina made our time preparing for as well as in Italy memorable and relaxed, feeling more like a member of the family by the end than a consultant. As soon as we asked Gina to be our planner, we felt a massive weight off our
shoulders. Planning a wedding abroad can be quite overwhelming, yet we were
immediately reassured by Gina's experience and efficiency. Had we tried to organise
the wedding ourselves I would have been extremely nervous and stressed in the run up
to the wedding. Yet the entire process was seamless, stress free and enjoyable!

Gina was simply wonderful! Right from the very beginning to the end, Gina co-ordinated our dream wedding and nothing went over looked. We had the most amazing day and so did all our family and friends. So many times we’ve been told it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to and how much they would like to return to Lucca. Not only did Gina – along with the lovely Navyo and Nikka – make sure our special day ran smoothly, but Gina also helped organise a big fun meal and drinks the previous evening which all added to the weekend experience for our guests. On the big day, everything was perfect – the flowers, the ceremony, the photos, the drinks… The transport to (and from) our wedding reception was done without fuss. Marco’s was a terrific venue and he and his staff could not have been nicer. The views were stunning, the food was delicious and music in the evening was on the button. Our guests didn’t want to leave!
We could not recommend Gina more – and thank you so very much for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!

Lucca is such a stunning place and the people who helped us pull the wedding together such as Stefano, Gabriele and Rossana were remarkable.

I would recommend Lucca as a wedding venue it was so romantic, full of character and picturesque.There is lots to see but not busy and crowded like other Italian cities and I would definitely recommend your services in a flash to anyone getting married in Lucca.
