The Lemon Tree Greenhouse, a 17th architectural masterpiece, used to house the lemon trees from the Italian Garden during the winter season, makes for a most original reception site. Then dine inside, under the long dangling vines which romantically drape the ceiling, while listening to the murmur of the ornate wall fountain of Bacchus, God of Wine. During the summer months, the large wooden doors are left open, bringing the fragrant breezes of the garden inside the cool stone walls. Alternately, for those that prefer the allure of the majestic main Villa, the reception can be held in the beautifully frescoed “Hall of Curtains”, where the walls are painted with trompe l’oeil curtains, dancing nymphs, and geometric designs.
