Saint in our book
question:Antonio (our son, 6 years old), which saints do you know?
answer: Saint Paul,
Saint Dorothy (that's the name of the school he goes to), Giacomo Puccini.
Spoken like a true Lucchese.

A new map of Lucca
We have created a map of Lucca, using the ultra convenient Google maps. It includes a selection of restaurants, bars, tourist information points, playgrounds for kids and points of interests. Enjoy!

Google Maps of Lucca
Google Maps used to only have satellite pictures of Italy, but it looks like they have finally added maps. Here is the hybrid view of Lucca.

Happy New Year 2006
Best wishes to all for 2006.
As we are in the US for the Holidays we can't report firsthand on what is going on
in Lucca at the moment, but our friend Antonio sent us a picture that seems to show
that they got a little snow.

How to share your wedding pictures
I just saw this page on How
to share pictures of a wedding (or any other reunion or event), on
my favourite picture site, flickr. It might be
a good way to quickly set-up a wedding site. The free account only lets you upload
10 Megabytes per month, but if you format your pictures for the web before uploading
that could mean around 100 pictures, which is a good start.
